List of Financial Market Terms

A Downtick is what is seen when a financial instrument is feeling sell side pressure.  A transaction followed by a lesser transaction. 

The term is commonly used in stock trading Systems, day trading Systems, options trading Systems, and futures trading Systems, and can also be used for commodities.
